  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Adds protein and creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup Natural sweetness that complements the flavors.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Intensifies flavors.
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Adds rich bursts of chocolate.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended to form a thick, sticky mixture.
  • Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly and evenly.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let the bars cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking. Substitute half of the oats with crushed nuts for different texture and try different types of chocolate chips.
