Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients together.
  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  • On the non-buttered sides, layer the fresh mozzarella, followed by the sliced avocado and tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the layered ingredients. Drizzle with balsamic glaze or pesto if using.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the pan butter-side down.
