Ingredients

For the tacos

For the bang bang sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Creamy base for our scrumptious sauce.
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce Adds a delightful depth to the dish.
  • 1 tsp sriracha Adds a spicy kick.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, toss the shrimp with half of the prepared bang bang sauce until they are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Heat a grill or a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  • Heat the corn tortillas in a dry pan or microwave until they are soft and pliable.

Assembling

  • Lay a generous helping of shredded cabbage in the center of each tortilla.
  • Top it with a handful of flavorful shrimp and a few slices of avocado.
  • Drizzle the remaining bang bang sauce over the shrimp and avocado layers.
  • Top each taco with freshly chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime.

Notes

Consider marinating the shrimp for 15-30 minutes using lime juice, garlic, and a touch of salt for added flavor. Adjust the amount of sriracha based on your spice tolerance.
