Ingredients

For the Cookie Base

  • 1 box brownie mix (18.4 oz, fudge-style preferred) This is the star of your cookies, providing a rich, chocolaty base.
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour Helps the cookies hold their shape.
  • 2 large eggs For binding the ingredients.
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil Enhances moisture.
  • 1 tbsp water Adds moisture.

For the Chocolate Goodness

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Melts while baking for gooey chocolate pockets.
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chunks Provides extra sweetness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the brownie mix and all-purpose flour.
  • Add the eggs, vegetable oil, and water to the dry mix. Stir until a thick, slightly sticky dough forms.
  • Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chunks.
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, portion the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  • Press extra chocolate chunks on top before baking.

Baking

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

You can add a pinch of sea salt on top for enhanced flavor. Optional nuts can be mixed in for a crunch. For a healthier twist, substitute half the oil with applesauce and use whole wheat flour.
