Ingredients

For the bruschettas

  • 1 piece baguette Crispy on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. Sliced into 1⁄2-inch rounds.
  • 8 oz burrata cheese Soft and creamy, melts beautifully into the warm bread.
  • 2 pieces ripe tomatoes Diced, brings freshness and brightness.
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil Adds a peppery note that beautifully complements.
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Enhances the flavors of the bruschettas.
  • 1/2 tsp salt Enhances the flavors.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper Adds warmth without overpowering the dish.
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze Sweet and tangy, for finishing touch.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice generously with extra virgin olive oil.
  • Bake for 5–7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently to mix.

Assembly

  • Spread burrata cheese on each toasted baguette slice.
  • Spoon the tomato and basil mixture over the burrata on each slice.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top.

Serving

  • Arrange bruschettas on a serving platter and serve immediately.
