Ingredients

Instructions

Prep the Garlic Bread

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic, grated parmesan cheese, and dried parsley. Stir until well-blended and creamy.
  • Spread this enticing mixture generously on the insides of your hoagie rolls.
  • Toast the rolls in a skillet or oven until golden and crisp.

Cook the Onions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the thinly sliced onions and sauté until they become soft and caramelized, around 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Once done, remove the onions from the skillet and set them aside.

Cook the Steak

  • In the same skillet, increase the heat to high and add your sliced ribeye or sirloin steak.
  • Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Once cooked, add the caramelized onions back into the skillet and mix thoroughly.

Assemble the Sandwiches

  • Load the steak and onion mixture generously into your toasted garlic parmesan rolls.

Melt and Serve
