Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups sweet corn (fresh, frozen, or canned & drained)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened softened to perfection
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for a tangy twist
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted for a rich flavor
  • 1 tsp garlic powder to enhance the taste
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder for an aromatic touch
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper for a subtle heat
  • 1/4 tsp salt to elevate the flavors
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese plus more for topping
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan optional for a cheesy finish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a medium baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the sweet corn and shredded cheese until well coated.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top with extra shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.
  • Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbling. Broil for an extra 2–3 minutes for a crispy topping.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For flavor variations, consider adding fresh or dried herbs, protein like cooked chicken or ham, or make it spicy with jalapeños. For a healthier option, use low-fat cream cheese and Greek yogurt.
