Instructions

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, white pepper, and salt.
  • Bring salted water to a boil, add the spaghetti or linguini, and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Cooking

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the chicken strips and season them with half of your spice blend. Cook for about 3 minutes until browned.
  • Flip the chicken strips, season with the remaining spice mix, and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through and nicely browned.
  • Add the remaining butter and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring well to combine.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low, allowing it to simmer for 7-8 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Serve the creamy chicken and sauce over the prepared pasta, twirling the noodles to coat them. Finish with freshly chopped parsley.
