Instructions

Preparation

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine both chocolates and butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until everything is smooth and fully melted.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and crispy rice cereal, gently folding the mixture until all the cereal is evenly coated in the chocolate.
  • Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper. Pour the chocolate mixture into the pan and spread it evenly.
  • Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour, or until it’s completely firm.

Serving

  • Once set, remove the bars from the pan by lifting the parchment paper. Cut into bars or squares for serving.
  • Enjoy immediately, or store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

Consider adding chopped nuts or dried fruits into the mixture for added texture and flavor. Drizzle white chocolate over the top for a beautiful presentation.
