Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by cutting each mozzarella string cheese stick in half. Place them on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 1 hour.
  • Set up your breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for whisked eggs and milk, and one for seasoned breadcrumbs.

Coating

  • Dredge each frozen mozzarella stick in flour, dip it into the egg mixture, and then coat it with the seasoned breadcrumbs.
  • For extra crunch, repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating process.

Frying

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  • Add the coated mozzarella sticks in batches and fry for about 1–2 minutes until golden brown.

Making Marinara Sauce
