Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless chicken breasts Tender and juicy, these chicken breasts serve as the star of the dish.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Sharp and savory, brings richness and crunch.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Creates a crispy coating.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter Essential for frying.

For the Garlic Sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced The heart of the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Adds creaminess to the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp butter Adds richness to the sauce.
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley Adds freshness to the dish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Pound chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap for even cooking.
  • Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Coating

  • Combine Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs in a bowl.
  • Press each chicken breast into the mixture until coated.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Making the Sauce

  • Remove chicken and keep warm on a plate.
  • Add butter to the skillet and let it melt, then add minced garlic.
  • Sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Stir in remaining butter and chopped parsley, and season with salt and pepper.

Serving

  • Spoon garlic sauce over the crispy chicken and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crunch, add a tablespoon of cornmeal to the breadcrumb mixture. Serve with a lemon wedge for added flavor.
