Ingredients

  • 1–2 cups fresh dandelion flowers, cleaned and trimmed Golden petals bursting with life, representing the beauty of backyard blooms.
  • 1 tbsp dried dandelion root or dried leaves Earthy and robust, ideal for a more concentrated infusion.

Instructions

Preparation with Fresh Flowers

  • Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  • Remove the pot from heat and add 1–2 cups of cleaned dandelion flowers.
  • Allow the mixture to steep for 10–15 minutes.
  • Strain the tea into your favorite mug and enjoy it with honey or lemon.

Preparation with Dried Root or Leaves

  • Place 1 tablespoon of dried dandelion root or leaves into a small pot with 2 cups of water.
  • Simmer gently on low for 10–15 minutes.
  • Strain the mixture into your cup and savor it with sweeteners or lemon.

Notes

Enhance your Dandelion Tea with mint, cinnamon, ginger, or lemon zest for additional flavors. The tea can also be served iced during warm months. Store leftover tea in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze in ice cube trays.
