Ingredients

Marinated Chicken

Broth Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter Adds creaminess.
  • 4 cups chicken broth Base of the broth.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Creates a velvety texture.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce For umami flavor.
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional) For extra heat.

Ramen & Garnish

  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning) The star of the dish.
  • 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped For freshness.
  • soft-boiled egg (optional) For added flavor.
  • sesame seeds (optional) Great for crunch.

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the boneless chicken with sriracha, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Ensure each piece is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Chicken

  • In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and sear for about 5-6 minutes until cooked through. Transfer to a cutting board to rest, then slice into thick strips.

Prepare the Broth

  • In a large pot, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and heavy cream. Let simmer for about 10 minutes. Add optional chili oil if desired.

Cook the Ramen

  • In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions, then drain.

Assemble the Bowls

  • Divide cooked ramen noodles into bowls. Pour steaming broth over noodles and top with sliced chicken.

Garnish & Serve

  • Top each bowl with chopped green onions, a soft-boiled egg, and sesame seeds. Drizzle with more chili oil if desired.
