Instructions

Preparation

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, pour in the milk and begin warming it slowly.
  • Add the ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of black pepper to the warmed milk. Stir constantly to combine and prevent clumping.
  • Stir in the maple syrup or honey, and the optional coconut oil or ghee. Whisk until smooth and steamy, avoiding boiling.
  • For an elevated experience, use a handheld frother or whisk vigorously to create light foam on top.
  • Pour your latte into your favorite cozy mug and finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or an extra drizzle of honey if desired.

Notes

Use fresh ginger instead of ground for a more vibrant flavor. Experiment with different types of milk, such as oat, almond, or coconut. You can blend the latte for frothing if you don't have a frother. For a cold treat, chill the latte and serve over ice.
