Instructions

Preparation

  • Line a 9×9-inch square pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Lay graham crackers in a single layer covering the bottom of the pan.

Making the Filling

  • In a large bowl, whisk together whole milk and instant vanilla pudding mix until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  • Fold in whipped topping and optional vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Layering

  • Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham cracker base.
  • Add another layer of graham crackers and top with remaining pudding mixture.
  • Finish with one last layer of graham crackers.

Making the Ganache

  • Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan until simmering.
  • Pour heavy cream over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes.
  • Stir until smooth, add a pinch of salt.

Final Assembly and Chilling

  • Pour chocolate ganache over the final graham cracker layer, spreading it evenly.
