Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped herbs, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, lemon zest, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Lay out a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Spoon the mixture onto one end and shape it into a log. Roll tightly and twist the ends to seal.
  • Place the wrapped butter in the refrigerator for at least one hour or freeze for longer storage.
  • Remove the log from the wrap and slice into rounds for serving.
