Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the pasta shells according to the package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the oil or butter over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Cooking the Shrimp

  • Add the shrimp and shower them with honey, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp turn pink.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese until melted.

Assembly and Baking

  • In a large baking dish, mix the cooked pasta shells with the shrimp sauce, ensuring each shell is coated.
  • Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbling and golden on top.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a delightful crunch, add finely chopped bell peppers during sautéing. Adjust sweetness by reducing honey. Finish with a splash of lemon juice for added brightness.
