Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, fresh lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • In another bowl, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and add the powdered sugar. Whip until stiff peaks form.
  • Carefully fold the whipped cream into the lime mixture using a spatula.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers with the melted butter.

Assembly

  • In a large trifle dish, layer the graham cracker mixture followed by the lime cream mixture.
  • Continue alternating layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with lime cream on top.
  • Top with fresh whipped cream and decorate with lime slices and extra zest.

Chilling

  • Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
