Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oil for frying in a deep pan on medium-high heat, enough to submerge the burrata halfway.
  • Carefully remove the burrata from the refrigerator and pat it dry with paper towels.
  • Dredge the burrata in flour to create a coating for the cheese.

Cooking

  • Once the oil is shimmering and hot (around 350°F or 175°C), carefully lower the coated burrata into the pan.
  • Fry the burrata for about 2-3 minutes until the coating is golden brown.
  • Remove the burrata with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  • While still warm, sprinkle generously with everything seasoning.

Serving

  • Serve immediately while hot and enjoy the gooey cheese inside!

Notes

For added flavor, consider making your own everything seasoning or experiment with different spices. Baking the burrata can be a lighter alternative to frying.
