Instructions

Preparation of Crust

  • Mix the crushed vanilla wafers with melted butter in a medium bowl to form a crumbly base.
  • Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to create a solid crust.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

Cream Cheese Filling

  • Beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gently fold in half of the whipped cream until combined.
  • Divide the mixture, adding strawberry puree and gelatin powder to one half.
  • Spread the plain cream cheese layer over the chilled crust.

Chill and Serve

  • Cover and chill the dish in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
