Tremendous Savory Steak Bites and Shrimp

Ingredients

For the marinade

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

For cooking

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional) Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 2 tbsp butter

For the sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

Marinate the Steak

  • Mix the steak pieces with minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Allow the mixture to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Steak Bites

  • In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak bites in a single layer, and sear them for 3–4 minutes on each side.
  • Remove the cooked steak from the skillet and set aside.

Season and Cook the Shrimp

  • In the same skillet, toss the shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the shrimp for about 2–3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove them from the skillet.

Make the Sauce

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet over medium heat.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, thyme, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer for about 2–3 minutes.

Combine Everything

  • Add the cooked steak and shrimp back into the skillet, gently tossing to coat them in the sauce. Heat for an additional 1–2 minutes.
  • Serve hot for the best flavors!

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate steak longer. Customize the heat with cayenne as desired. Add colorful veggies for extra nutrition.
