Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (355°F).
  • Remove any plastic wrap from the Camembert and place it back in its wooden box, or in a small ovenproof dish.
  • Score the top of the cheese in a crosshatch pattern with a sharp knife.
  • Drizzle the top with olive oil and one tablespoon of hot honey, then sprinkle with fresh thyme and cracked black pepper.

Baking

  • Place the Camembert in the oven, uncovered, and bake for 15-18 minutes until gooey and bubbling.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven, drizzle with remaining hot honey, and sprinkle with toasted pistachios.
  • Serve hot with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fresh apple or pear slices.
