Ingredients

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • For the crust, in a mixing bowl, blend Oreo crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press into the prepared springform pan and bake for 10 minutes; let cool.

Cheesecake filling

  • In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and blend well.
  • Incorporate sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs one at a time until completely mixed.
  • Mix in yellow food coloring and crushed Oreos.

Baking

  • Carefully pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes until edges are set but center jiggles slightly. Turn off the oven and let cool for an hour.
  • Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Ganache and finishing touches

Notes
